How Clogs Helped Me Increase My Productivity?

After completing my basic course in being a teacher, I had recently opted for volunteer work in a school until I got my certificate for preschool teaching. This job profile was the closest exposure that I would get in the world of education before I dived in deep into it. My future goals consisted of opening a school for the kids, and this was the first step to getting on-field exposure. I started working there, and everything was fine except for the constant pain in my calf muscles that used t get due to long standing hours in the school.
I kept avoiding it for a considerable amount of time until it becomes a source of frustration for me. It was starting to affect my productivity at work, and the principal was worried at the lowering graph of my work capability. She called me into the office for a session and asked me if I liked working at the school or was facing some issues. I had been dodging this unnecessary information that was the prime source of the problem for me for a long time. Even though I felt like it should not be discussed with the people, I went ahead and blurted out that I felt exhausted with the long-standing hours.

What started as random work-related feedback turned into a meaningful conversation when she smiled and showed me her feet adorned with clog sandals. She told me that when she began her career as a preschool teacher, she was also facing similar issues and it led her to be irritated all the time. Her grandmother came to the rescue and advised her to wear the clog sandals to work. At first, it felt like people would be looking at the feet all the time due to chunkiness of the shoes, but then the comfort that they provided was par excellence and helped in getting over the fear as well as the pain over a period.

She also mentioned that there was a sale going on in her favorite store of the clog sandals and suggested that I should visit it after the school got over that day. Today, I have accomplished all my goals and advice my school staff to wear the clogs to work every day.
